We are a local deli, shop and café established in 2020, and situated in the Howardian Hills, a stones throw away from Castle Howard. Freshly Baked Breads, Pastries, Cakes, & more!

Our bakery is at the heart of everything we provide at Dogh, from the homemade bread we use for all of our sandwiches and breakfasts, to our ever-changing cake counter, filled with cakes, pastries and tray bakes all lovingly made in house by head baker Georgia. Our deli is stocked with homemade giant sausage rolls and seasonally flavoured quiches, and our shop hosts our ready meal freezer, filled with delicious home-cooked meals, soups and desserts to enjoy from the comfort of your own home. Special mention must go out to our famous egg custard tarts, available Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings.

SERVING FRESHly GROUND NAKED BEAN COFFEE, HOMEMADE CAKES & Other CAFÉ FAVOURITES

We provide delicious sandwiches, wraps, panini’s, salads and soups, as well as deli favorites such as our giant sausage rolls or seasonal quiches. All items are made in house or sourced from local suppliers with possible. Our cosy, intimate café seats 24, with most tables suitable for 3 to 4 people. For tables of 6 or above, we always recommend booking in advance or giving us a call on the day to ensure we can accommodate you. Dogs are welcome inside the café.

A selection of Meats, Cheeses, Fine Foods & Homemade Takeaway Meals

How about calling down for a few slices of a freshly roasted ham? Our deli counter may have a slight leaning towards Italian – Chorizo, Nduja and Olives are some of our favourites in addition to a small but well-stocked cheese counter. If we don’t have what you want, please ask and we will try to source it for you.

We also have a weekly choice of Bistro style chilled and frozen meals to take home such as Beef Lasagne with home made pasta sheets, luxury fish pie, or an authentic curry, as well as vegetarian options.

Our shop shelves are filled to the brim with local produce, from Welburn Honey to Bracken Hill jams and pickles. We also stock a wide range of Italian specialty items, such as pastas, sauces, and antipasti, as well as treats for everyone (including your four-legged friends!). You’ll often find gifts and trinkets in the shop around celebration days, and we have a well-stocked selection of gifts and decorative items at Christmas.
